BY CAR
If you are coming from the North: Motorway Genoa-Livorno-Rosignano.
Continue on the Grosseto-Roma highway, then exit at the sign for Piombino and continue for another 15 km until Piombino Porto.

If you are coming from the North-East: Motorway Bologna-Florence–Pisa–Livorno-Rosignano. Continue on the Grosseto-Roma highway, then exit at the sign for Piombino and continue for another 15 km until Piombino Porto.

If you are coming from the South: Motorway Rome–Grosseto, continue on the highway until the exit  Piombino-Isola d'Elba and continue for another 15 km until Piombino Porto. .

BY TRAIN
From Campiglia Station, on the railway line Genoa–Roma, there are connections to Piombino Marittima by train or bus.

BY FERRY
The nearest port is Piombino, where there are different ferry companies: Moby/Toremar, BLUNAVY, Corsica Ferry (you can book ticket on this site pushing "ferry bookings” bottom).
The frequency of the connections varies according to the seasons. During winter there are 15 daily trips. From May to September there is a ferry every 20 minutes.
The crossing from Piombino to Portoferraio on the Island of Elba takes around 60 minutes. During high season it is a good idea to book in advance. Passengers may also reach the island with the Toremar hydrofoil. It takes 30 minutes to reach Portoferraio.

From Portoferraio take the bus (or taxi) to Marciana Marina (about 40 minutes).

Sea Kayak Italy is situated in Marciana Marina, 35 Via Llewelyn Lloyd (in front of the post office).

BY AEROPLANE
Connections from Pisa or Florence to the island of Elba. The Airport is at Marina di Campo (Elba). The runway is 1500 m. long and paved.
